Eszter completed her Ph.D. in History at the Humboldt University of Berlin 2010. Currently she is post doc researcher at the Herder-Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe, and project leader at the Humboldt University of Berlin .
Eszter has studied Law, History and Political Sciences in Budapest, Jerusalem and Berlin. She was a visiting scholar at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University in 2015. Her research fields include: history of science and knowledge, urban history (with focus on Central Europe), intellectual history of Europe, Jewish history of Central Europe and Heritage Studies and Digital Humanities.
