Roy Doliner has the same sort of bizarre and eclectic background as Michelangelo. His studies include several foreign languages, including Italian, Sign Language, French, Hebrew and Latin, amongst others. His researches have included art history, religious history, Western civilization, architectural history, theatre and film. Learning of his Jewish heritage at a later age, he is today a passionate lecturer on Judaism and an eternal student of Torah, Talmud and Kabbalah. As a renowned Art Detective, his discoveries include the Model for Michelangelo's Pietà in the Vatican, and his international best-seller, The Sistine Secrets, which shocked the world by decoding Michelangelo's visual messages concealed in the world\s most famous frescoes. For his work in art history and interreligious understanding, Roy was the first Orthodox Jew authorized to be a VIP docent in the Vatican. When in Rome, Roy does what very few Romans do - he is a constant fixture both in the Vatican and the Jewish Museums.”
